Post consumer recycling at work

One of the most important ways we can help the environment is by recycling post consumer materials. This not only eases the strain on landfills, but also decreases our usage of natural resources. In recent years, we have begun using automobile glass, a post consumer ingredient, in our carpet products to reduce the amount of virgin raw materials required for production. Three of our most popular backing systems now contain significant levels of recycled automobile glass in their material make up. With the amount of backing we produce, this translates into big savings for the environment.
