We're one of the world's largest producers of carpet backing, and many people are familiar with our innovative backing systems and the unique environmental benefits they offer. However, most customers don't realize that we recycle the waste from our backings and use it to make carpet cores. These plastic carpet cores are more durable and longer lasting than regular cardboard cores because of their unique material make up. It's just a small part of our overall, comprehensive sustainability effort, but it goes a long way toward reducing the strain on landfills and decreasing our dependence on natural resources.
