Finding a use for everything

Even though our "PET" project already recycles 3 billion plastic beverage bottles every year, we found a way to make this initiative even more beneficial for the environment. While the plastic bottles themselves are being used to make carpet fibers, we have started using the bottle caps and labels to make carpet cores. This means that the entire beverage bottle is now being completely recycled into useful products. This use of recycled bottles significantly reduces the amount of natural resources needed to manufacture our products. The plastic carpet cores that come from the recycled bottle caps and labels are also inherently more sustainable than their cardboard counterparts.
