Expert recycling from the largest recycler in the industry
To further decrease the strain on landfills and reduce our use of natural resources, we recycle all kinds of latex based carpets and use the resulting post consumer recycled content to make more carpeting. Here's how it works. First we shred the post consumer material. Then we purify this polymer to a greater than 90% purity (for Nylon Type 6, Nylon Type 6,6 and polypropylene). The result – an engineered resin which can be manufactured into a variety of products. We then purify the latex generated from this initial process to make filler that can be used in any backing system that we make. This way, nothing is wasted. Other leading carpet manufacturers don't even come close to the efficiency and success we have achieved in recycling latex. As the largest recycler in the flooring industry, it's just a normal part of our daily work.
