Everyone appreciates the richness and beauty of woven carpet. What many people don't realize, however, is the huge difference it makes for sustainability. Woven carpets last two to three times longer than conventional carpet and use less nylon, reducing energy consumption by as much as 50% and keeping carpets out of landfills for extended periods. As America's oldest carpet weaver, we're always been on the lookout for more ways to improve our service and our sustainability. As a result, we came up with the first online woven carpet simulation tool.
More sustainable customization
Karastan LE12 is a rapid prototyping tool that allows users to explore endless combinations of styles and colors and view them in actual room scenes - right from their own desktop. With many of the same features and benefits as Mohawk's other simulation tools, LE12 introduces the very first woven carpet simulation, cutting the typical month-long lead times for viewing custom woven carpets down to a matter of seconds. This tool takes an already highly sustainable line of products and increases their sustainability even more. Customers can choose the exact custom products they want and view realistic, high definition simulations without sending lots of wasted carpet samples into landfills.
