Duraloc AC is engineered to withstand the constant foot traffic and heavy wear of the busiest commercial spaces. It passes the stringent British Spill Test and the 10,000 Impact Barrier Test. Yet, who would have guessed that the secret ingredient in this tough backing system is something as simple and natural as soy oil? By using this bio-based, rapidly renewable resource, we're significantly reducing our reliance on petrochemicals.

A green dream come true

In addition to cutting our dependence on petrochemicals, this high performance backing system is PVC free, chlorine free and non-toxic. It contains 19% pre-consumer recycled content and 12% post-consumer content and 3% renewable resource content(when used in conjunction with our Ultra Performance Backing system). This CRI Green Label Plus Certified product even improves indoor air quality by preventing moisture from penetrating the carpet - a common cause of mold, mildew, and other air contaminants.
