We engineered Integrated Cushion Thermobond (ICT), the ultra dense cushion backing system behind Lees Squared, to provide permanent dimensional stability. It won't cup, dome, or dish. It won't edge ravel or delaminate. Altogether, it means that end users get much more use out of their carpet, saving big on maintenance and replacement costs. It also helps save the environment by keeping carpet out of landfills longer.

Add up to 35% recycled content

ICT RC provides the same high performance as regular ICT, but adds recycled content in the form of Celceram, or "coal fly ash." ICT RC contains 35% recycled content (based on total product weight). Over 2000 years ago, the Romans used volcanic ash in building structures like the Pantheon, which are still standing today. In the 1950's modern interest in using Celceram for cement production began; and today, this cost-efficient, robust material is used in many different building materials. Celceram is a by-product of coal-powered electrical power plants, and its use supports the EPA's reduction of solid waste initiatives while also contributing to the U.S. Green Building Council LEED rating system.

Ergonomic benefits

Both ICT and ICT RC provide significant acoustical benefits, reduce slips, and cushion falls. ICT backing meets the requirements of the American Disability Act (ADA). We've designed these backing systems with ergonomic benefits in mind because we care about everything in the environment, including the people.
