Engineered to last, Ultraset reduces the waste associated with replacing worn out carpet. Its thermo-stable attributes bring unsurpassed dimensional stability so the carpet will not cup, dome, or dish. Ultraset is laminated with an advanced premium vinyl compound giving it this long-term strength and stability. Its thermoplastic materials also resist mold and mildew and are impervious to moisture.

Ultraset contains no detectable VOCs, has earned the Carpet & Rug Institute Green Label Plus Certification. Ultraset has superior acoustical and sound absorbing properties. It reduces slips and cushions falls, meeting all Federal requirements for the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

35% minimum recycled content in UltrasetRC

UltrasetRC is Ultraset with Celceram (coal fly ash). This ultra-dense, five-layer cushion backing system is designed for superior performance and contains a minimum of 35% recycled content (based on total product weight). Coal fly ash is the finely divided mineral residue that comes from the burning of coal to fuel power plants. Historically, it has been used in the production of cement and industrial fillers, but more recently, many other applications have been found. Celceram offers high performance properties, supports the EPA's reduction of solid waste initiatives, and contributes to the U.S. Green Building Council LEED rating system. UltrasetRC builds on our premium Ultraset RC builds on our premium UltraSet modular backing system by replacing virgin materials with recycled materials, which helps our customers achieve LEED points.
