Lees Carpets (a division of Mohawk) has been a member of Business for the Bay since 1987. Business for the Bay is made up of business, industry, and government groups committed to protecting Chesapeake Bay - the largest estuary in the U.S. The organization's primary objective is to reduce and prevent pollution in the waterways that flow into the Chesapeake Bay so that the more than 3,600 species of plants, fish, and animals living there can continue to thrive in this unique environment. With the main manufacturing facility for Lees located in Glasgow, Virginia, we play a vital role in keeping Chesapeake Bay clean. We're excited to be able to partner with other businesses and the government to ensure that Chesapeake Bay remains a pristine, beautiful ecosystem for generations to come.
