Consortium on Competitiveness for the Apparel, Carpet and Textile Industries (CCACTI)

CCACTI funds research in all areas of recycling processes, waste reduction, and environmental technology. University of Georgia and Georgia Tech are two examples of research institutions that receive funds from CCACTI. Through our membership in this organization, we're able to partner with researchers who are working on new, innovative approaches for dealing with waste from the textile industry. Our CCACTI partners are also exploring more sustainable manufacturing methods and products. By helping to fund this valuable research, we're at the forefront of new initiatives to improve the environmental-friendliness of our own practices and products as well as those of the textile industry at large.
