A history of helping people with disabilities

Easter Seals has been providing helpful assistance for individuals with disabilities and their families for over 85 years. Today, the organization offers help to over a million children and adults with autism and other disabilities or special needs every year. Their services now include everything from medical rehabilitation and job training to childcare, adult day services, and even recreation and sports.

Valuable employment for Easter Seals clients

Mohawk has partnered with Easter Seals in providing employment for a large number of Easter Seal clients. The initial success of this program led to rapid expansion and eventually included building a special facility with Easter Seal clients in mind. Today, Easter Seals clients produce over 1,000 sample folders for Mohawk every day. The tremendous success of our partnership with Easter Seals has already inspired other manufacturers to begin similar programs.
