P2AD
Volunteering to work with state government for a healthier environment
Partnering with the state of Georgia
The Pollution Prevention Assistance Division (P2AD) is an environmental initiative specific to the state of Georgia. The P2AD Partnership Program recognizes organizations and businesses for their superior environmental performance, and it encourages environmental leadership. We currently have three manufacturing plants participating in Georgia's P2AD. Our participation is completely voluntary as P2AD is a non-regulatory division of Georgia's Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The goal of pollution prevention through P2AD is to reduce or eliminate hazardous waste at its source. If hazardous substances, pollutants, and contaminants can be reduced before they leave their source, then their impact on people and the environment is significantly lessened.
