New tools for a completely new process

We have developed a number of new online product selection tools that have changed the carpet buying process from a costly and time consuming chore to an interactive, easily accessible, and almost instantaneous task. Customers can now explore all kinds of different color and pattern combinations without ever having to order a tufted sample. These tools offer greater flexibility for our customers, greater efficiency for our company, and greater sustainability for our environment. Here's a closer look at some of our new online product and customization tools.

• Online Product Guide – By moving our entire product catalog online, we have achieved huge environmental and economic savings in production, shipping, packaging, and end of life disposal.
• Folio 54 / Folio 12 – These online tools for Durkan modular and broadloom allow customers to mix and match patterns and colors, view selections in virtual room scenes, and order high definition prints of samples, all from their own desktops.
• LE 12 – This program lets Karastan customers explore all our woven style and color options online before ever having to order a sample. When they do need a sample, they can have high definition prints-illustrated as a swatch or in a room scene-shipped straight to their door without the usual month-long lead times required for woven carpet samples.
• Custom Merit – Creative minds can choose from more than 400 custom patterns and 130 yarn colors to develop endless options for hospitality interiors. Create project folders, view ideas in a room scene, or simply order a SIM (digital carpet simpulation) to be delivered the next business day-Custom Merit lets you work smart wile being responsible.
• Design Studio – This online modular customization technology allows customers to create custom pattern and colors online. All custom design is accomplished online, eliminating the need to manufacture physical samples. Once a pattern and color is selected, a Techno image is sent within 24-58 hours. Each Techno image saves 1 quart of oil over a physical sample.
• Thought Patterns – This tool enables broadloom customers to mix and match over 200 carpet designs and multiple colorways to form over 3,000 possible combinations. They can then have high quality "Techno Images" sent straight to their door the very next business day.
